Ceramic tiles are usually lightweight compared to porcelain and must be dipped in water before installation. The thickness varies from 5 mm up to 8 mm.
When it comes to marble, quartz, or granite, there are very few readily available tile sizes with few variations in design.
The standard sizes are 30 cm* 60 cm and 60 cm * 60 cm.

If it is the bathroom and kitchen, then the price jumps to AED 75 per square meter onward due to the time taken installing the tiles in a small area. Removing existing tiles and plastering the surface for new tiles can go up to AED 50 per square meter, apart from tiles installation.

Please understand, installing new tiles is different than doing tile maintenance. Regarding tile maintenance, it is always higher because of mobilization costs.
For example, you have around 4 broken tiles that you want to replace, so we calculate on a lumpsum basis.
So the total becomes approx AED 650/ to replace those 4 tiles
Now if the quantity is more than 4 and it is a day job, then only tile cost will vary. So if it is 8 tiles, it will be AED 750/-
